The inaugural champions were Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit. The current champions are Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan & Kane), who are in their first reign as a team. Individually, this is Bryan's first reign and Kane's second. They defeated R-Truth and Kofi Kingston on September 16, 2012 in Boston, Massachusetts at Night of Champions.
