Previous & Future Championships

From 2005 the men's and women's Championships have been held as separate events on alternating years. In 2013, there will be a combined world championships, the first since 2003. WTBA has also announced that Abu Dhabi will host the men's world championships in 2014 and the women's world championships in 2015.

A new event, WTBA World Singles Championships for men and women, was held for the first time in Limassol, Cyprus from September 18-26, 2012 and will be held every four years. With this new event, there will a WTBA bowling championships held every year.
