Next Event
On 21 August 2011, at the closing Mass, the Pope revealed that the next event will be held in 2013 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The location was leaked a few months before this however. World Youth Day 2013 will be held in that year, in place of 3 years 2014, due to Brazil's hosting of the 2014 FIFA World Cup and 2016 Summer Olympics.
