World Under Blood - Early Years

Early Years

World Under Blood put two songs on their Myspace page, "God Among The Waste" and "Dead And Still In Pain", in late 2006, and another song in 2007, "Under The Autumn Low," with Deron and Tim playing all instruments. Shortly after, bassist Risha Eryavac (ex-Decrepit Birth) and guitarist Luke Jaeger (Sleep Terror) were added to the band.

In April 2008, the band went into the studio to record four new tracks, one of them a cover of Megadeth's "Wake Up Dead." Their debut album was set for release by the end of the year with a tour in support of the album; the release date was later postponed to 2009, according to the band's Myspace page.

On 11 December 2008, Tim Yeung stated on Metal Messiah Radio that most of the World Under Blood album has been written and recorded and that they only need to write 3 more songs, which should be done after Tim has finished up the new Divine Heresy album in February 2009.

In late May 2009, World Under Blood signed a deal with Nuclear Blast Records. World Under Blood's debut album was released July 26, 2011.

I suppose you think that persons who are as old as your father and myself are always thinking about very grave things, but I know that we are meditating the same old themes that we did when we were ten years old, only we go more gravely about it.
