Rivalries
Apart from the famed "Northern Derby" with Sembawang Rangers and Jurong FC in the early years of the S.League, Woodlands also has rivalries with northern and northeastern clubs such as Harimau Muda and Hougang United.
Matches between Woodlands and Hougang are known as the ""Northeastern Derby" while the rivalry with the Young Tigers are fondly known as the "Causeway Derby" (with reference to the Johor–Singapore Causeway) was formed due to Harimau Muda being assigned with Yishun Stadium as their home ground.
