Famous quotes containing the words wolf and/or prize:
“And life, the flicker of men and moths and the wolf on the hill,
Though furious for continuance, passionately feeding, passionately
Remaking itself upon its mates, remembers deep inward
The calm mother, the quietness of the womb and the egg,”
—Robinson Jeffers (18871962)
“In the corrupted currents of this world
Offences gilded hand may shove by justice,
And oft tis seen the wicked prize itself
Buys out the law; but tis not so above:
There is no shuffling.”
—William Shakespeare (15641616)
