Wisconsin Highway 42
State Trunk Highway 42 (often called Highway 42, STH 42 or WIS 42) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It runs north–south in northeast Wisconsin from Northport's ferry dock to Sheboygan.
Much of the highway is part of the Lake Michigan Circle Tour (from the eastern junction with U.S. Route 10 in Manitowoc to its junction with Highway 57 in Sister Bay, Wisconsin).

Famous quotes containing the word highway:
“The improved American highway system ... isolated the American-in-transit. On his speedway ... he had no contact with the towns which he by-passed. If he stopped for food or gas, he was served no local fare or local fuel, but had one of Howard Johnsons nationally branded ice cream flavors, and so many gallons of Exxon. This vast ocean of superhighways was nearly as free of culture as the sea traversed by the Mayflower Pilgrims.”
—Daniel J. Boorstin (b. 1914)
