Prior to that album, he also worked with musicians such as Bill Doggett, Dionne Warwick, Sonny Stitt and Lou Donaldson, to name just a few. He is also the son of pianist Harry Vann Walls. Famous quotes containing the word walls:
“If a man, cautious,
hides his limp,
Somebody has to limp it! Things
do it; the surroundings limp.
House walls get scars,
the car breaks down; matter, in drudgery, takes it up.”
—Robert Bly (b. 1926)
