Wings (Bonnie Tyler album)

Wings is the fifteenth album by Bonnie Tyler, released in 2005. It is her third album in four years, and she has co-written most of the tracks. The album was released as Celebrate in UK in 2006. It is the first album where Tyler co-wrote most of tracks.

Wings is produced by John Stage and features the singles "Louise" and "Celebrate" as well as new versions of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" (written by Jim Steinman) and "It's a Heartache". Two of the tracks, "Louise" and "Celebrate" are also featured on the album in French.

The album also features "I'll Stand by You", a duet with Tyler and Lorraine Crosby (aka Mrs. Loud of Meat Loaf's "I'd Do Anything for Love" fame). Stuart Emerson, who worked with Tyler on 1995's Free Spirit and contributed to 2004's Simply Believe albums, worked with her on two tracks on this album.

Famous quotes containing the word tyler:

It seems to me that since I’ve had children, I’ve grown richer and deeper. They may have slowed down my writing for a while, but when I did write, I had more of a self to speak from.
    —Anne Tyler (20th century)
