Wind Profile Power Law - Wind Power Density

Wind Power Density

Estimates of wind power density are presented as wind class, ranging from 1 to 7. The speeds are average wind speeds over the course of a year, although the frequency distribution of wind speed can provide different power densities for the same average wind speed.

Famous quotes containing the words wind and/or power:

In spite of Virtue and the Muse,
    Nemesis will have her dues,
And all our struggles and our toils
    Tighter wind the giant coils.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

What I think the political correctness debate is really about is the power to be able to define. The definers want the power to name. And the defined are now taking that power away from them.
    Toni Morrison (b. 1931)
