Wind Music

Wind music has two different meanings:

  1. Music written for wind instruments
  2. Music produced using the wind (rather than, say, breath). These are chiefly string instruments, such as the Aeolian harp, but some woodwinds are also known.

Wind Music can refer to:

  • Wind Music (record label), a Taiwanese music company

Famous quotes containing the words wind and/or music:

Only when we break the mirror and climb into our vision,
only when we are the wind together streaming and singing,
only in the dream we become with our bones for spears,
    we are real at last
    and wake.
    Marge Piercy (b. 1936)

Westminster Abbey is nature crystallized into a conventional form by man, with his sorrows, his joys, his failures, and his seeking for the Great Spirit. It is a frozen requiem, with a nation’s prayer ever in dumb music ascending.
    M. E. W. Sherwood (1826–1903)
