Willie Miller played collegiate ball for the Letran Knights in the NCAA and also played for Tanduay in the team's last conference in the amateur commercial league playing alongside Eric Menk, Ren-Ren Ritualo, Chris Cantonjos, Mark Telan and Gerald Francisco, claiming a runner-up finish against Doctor J Rubbing Alcohol.
