Wild At Heart (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)
"Wild at Heart" is the sixth episode of season 4 of the television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In a BBC interview, writer Marti Noxon says she would have liked to direct this episode, as it was "close to heart" - particularly the metaphor that "most of us have a creature inside of us that makes us do things that we wish we didn’t do." She adds, "The whole issue of sexuality between men and women is kind of fraught because of the beast."

Famous quotes containing the words wild, heart and/or vampire:
“And the heavy night hung dark
The hills and waters oer,
When a band of exiles moored their bark
On the wild New England shore.”
—Felicia Dorothea Hemans (17831835)
“The hearts of small children are delicate organs. A cruel beginning in this world can twist them into curious shapes. The heart of a hurt child can shrink so that forever afterward it is hard and pitted as the seed of a peach. Or, again, the heart of such a child may fester and swell until it is misery to carry within the body, easily chafed and hurt by the most ordinary things.”
—Carson McCullers (19171967)
“If Ive killed one man, Ive killed two
The vampire who said he was you
And drank my blood for a year,
Seven years, if you want to know.”
—Sylvia Plath (19321963)
