Famous quotes containing the words wilbur and/or mills:

It is always a matter, my darling,
Of life or death, as I had forgotten. I wish
What I wished you before, but harder.
    —Richard Wilbur (b. 1921)

Commercial jazz, soap opera, pulp fiction, comic strips, the movies set the images, mannerisms, standards, and aims of the urban masses. —C. Wright Mills (1916–62)
