Demographics
As of the 2010 Census, there were 8,836 people, 3,061 households, and 2,532 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 2,157.9 inhabitants per square mile (833.2 /km2). There were 3,152 housing units at an average density of 769.8 per square mile (297.2 /km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 89.1% White, 1.7% African American, 0.0% Native American, 5.9% Asian, 1.4% from other races, and 1.8% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 9.2% of the population.
There were 3,061 households out of which 41.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 71.3% were married couples living together, 8.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 17.3% were non-families. 13.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.89 and the average family size was 3.18.
In the CDP, the population was spread out with 25.9% under the age of 18, 6.3% from 18 to 24, 25.8% from 25 to 44, 31.9% from 45 to 64, and 10.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 40.4 years. For every 100 females there were 96.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.6 males.
The median income for a household in the CDP was $110,625, and the median income for a family was $121,027. Among full-time workers, males had median earnings of $81,700 versus $55,357 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $43,891. About 0.6% of families and 0.8% of the population were below the poverty line, including 0.7% of those under age 18 and 0.0% of those age 65 or over.
