Notable Accomplishments -

Volleyball- White Knoll Volleyball hosted their first playoff match at home for the first time in school history in 2008 placing second. Most recently in 2010 and 2011, White Knoll reached the semi-finals of the Class 4A playoffs, unfortunately being defeated by rival Lexington in 2010 and foe Aiken in 2011.

Football- The White Knoll Varsity Football team made its first ever appearance in the 4A State Playoffs in 2010. Highest ranked team in the state to ever be defeated in school history was then 3rd ranked Airport Eagles (3A) in 2007.

Joshua L. Torrence
Joshua Torrence was a member of the first White Knoll High School Football team, as an offensive lineman from 2000-2003. Upon his graduation, he enlisted into the United States Marines in 2003 and was assigned to 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. On March 14, 2005 Lance Corporal Joshua L. Torrence died of wounds received as a result of hostile action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was 20 years old.
During construction of the White Knoll football stadium, an effort to name the stadium's field house after LCPL Torrence was begun. In order to name the field house after Torrence, the school had to raise $150,000. Fundraising efforts began in the Summer of 2006 and by November 2007, the field house was officially named the LCPL Joshua L. Torrence Field House.
The field house contains home and visitor locker rooms, training room, officials locker room, storage, visitor concessions and restrooms. Opening in August 2007, the White Knoll High School football stadium was opened with much excitement for Timberwolf fans who were tired of sharing a stadium with their crosstown rivals, the Lexington Wildcats. Costing more than $5 million to construct, the "Wolf Den" is home to Timberwolf Football, Mens and Womens Soccer, and Mens Lacrosse.

Baseball- The White Knoll Baseball team has been the powerhouse in the state of South Carolina for number of years: winning their first ever state championship in the spring of 2010 and known for making the playoffs a priority. White Knoll Baseball are 4-time region champs (2001, 2007, 2010, 2011), 5-time district champs (2004, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012), and the 2010 Lower State 4-A Champions.
