White Hot Peach is the Primitive Radio Gods' follow-up to Rocket, and was released on October 24, 2000. Quite different in sound from the debut album, White Hot Peach features much less of the sampling that made the band famous. Most of the material from this album is from "Mellotron On", the album the band planned on releasing through Sire Records in 1999, but could not due to that label's bankruptcy.

Famous quotes containing the words white, hot and/or peach:
“We black women must forgive black men for not protecting us against slavery, racism, white men, our confusion, their doubts. And black men must forgive black women for our own sometimes dubious choices, divided loyalties, and lack of belief in their possibilities. Only when our sons and our daughters know that forgiveness is real, existent, and that those who love them practice it, can they form bonds as men and women that really can save and change our community.”
—Marita Golden, educator, author. Saving Our Sons, p. 188, Doubleday (1995)
“Coming about its own business
Till, with a sudden sharp hot stink of fox
It enters the dark hole of the head.
The window is starless still; the clock ticks,
The page is printed.”
—Ted Hughes (b. 1930)
“The dog-wood breaks white
The pear-tree has caught
The apple is a red blaze
The peach has already withered its own leaves
The wild plum-tree is alight.”
—Hilda Doolittle (18861961)
