Brisbane Lions

The Brisbane Lions is an Australian rules football club which plays in the Australian Football League (AFL). The club is based in Brisbane, Queensland. The club was formed in 1996 from the merger of the Brisbane Bears and the Fitzroy Lions. It is the most successful AFL club of the 21st century (2001–present), having appeared in four consecutive AFL Grand Finals between 2001 and 2004, winning three premierships (2001, 2002 and 2003).

The club is based at The Gabba and is captained by Jonathan Brown and coached by Michael Voss, a former captain of the club.
