- W250BN is not owned by Wisconsin Public Radio, but instead "Radio Power, Inc.", which has moved the translator over the years up the Rock Freeway corridor from Beloit in an attempt to move it to Milwaukee in order to likely present a ready-made signal for a commercial operation to broadcast an HD Radio subchannel or AM signal over. The Federal Communications Commission has questioned this and other translator moves in the last few months, and has asked Radio Power to comment on their true motives for a latter move to the MPTV Tower on Milwaukee's northwest side.
