Athletics
Westminster Schools of Augusta fields 16 varsity interscholastic sport teams, including, football, basketball, soccer, tennis, track and field, cross country, baseball, golf, swimming and cheerleading. It is the goal of our athletics department to impact our students and our community for God’s kingdom through the pursuit of excellence in the athletic arena.
The Westminster boys soccer team is one of the most dominant in its state classification, having won four state championships. Along with these state championships, they have also won 15 regional championships. The girls soccer team has won 12 regional championships. In the 2008-2009 season, the girls soccer team went on to win the state championship, the first girl's soccer state championship in school history.
In 2012, the Westminster competition cheerleading squad won the state championship for the first time in school history.
