Extracurriculars
The schools offers a variety of clubs, activities and sports. Eligibility for participation is determined by school board policies.
By Pennsylvania law, all K-12 students in the district, including those who attend a private nonpublic school, cyber charter school, charter school and those homeschooled, are eligible to participate in the extracurricular programs including all athletics. They must meet the same eligibility rules as the students enrolled in the district's schools.
In December 2009, the school board awarded a $735,515 contract to Kinsley Construction of York to resurface the stadium field with synthetic turf and associated renovations to the middle school soccer field.
