Economy and Infrastructure
The economy of the then-cities than now make up Weinstadt was primarily based on wine production. With 489 hectares of vineyard (as of 2011), Weinstadt has the fourth-largest area of any wine-producing community in Württemberg. Today, some medium-sized business have also been established in Weinstadt. In addition, many employees commute to the nearby cities, particularly Waiblingen and Stuttgart.
