Sin was the third to last World Championship Wrestling (WCW) pay-per view, before the company was bought by rival promotion, World Wrestling Federation (WWF), two months later on March 23, 2001. After this event, Sid Vicious was unable to compete in professional wrestling regularly, as the injury he sustained was of a severe nature.
