The Watan Party of Afghanistan (Persian: حزب وطن افغانستان) is a political party in Afghanistan. It was founded a 28 June 1997 in Munich, Germany as a continuation of the PDPA/Watan Party of Dr. Najibullah. The Munich conference elected Muhammad Isa Jassur as the leader of the party. The party held its second congress in Frankfurt/Main in 2000.
