Academic Offerings
WVHS boasts an array of courses to challenges students of all levels. These classes included honors classes, Advanced Placement (AP) classes, and other college courses. Of the available honors courses are Global History 1 & 2; English 9, 10, 11; Earth Science (Grade 8); Biology; Chemistry; Physics; Integrated Algebra; Geometry; Algebra 2/Trigonometry; and Pre-Calc. Of the available AP courses are World History, U.S. History, European History, English Literature, Calculus AB, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Music Theory, French, Spanish, Psychology, and Physics. Through SUNY Orange, Accounting Principles, Intro to Business, and Principles of Marketing are offered. Through SUNY Albany, Science Research, College Algebra/Trig, French 4, and Spanish 4 are offered. Through Syracuse University, Writing Studio I and Reading & Interpretation are offered through Syracuse University Project Advance (SUPA).
