Legacy

After his death in 1923, an area of land around Frenchs Forest was proclaimed as "Davidson State Park" in his honour and, subsequently, the suburb of Davidson that developed later took his name. In 1972 the local Davidson High School was established and dedicated in his name. In recognition of her service during the Davidson's time as Viceroys, Lady Davidson Hospital in Turramurra was dedicated in 1923 and Lady Davidson Circuit in Forestville were named in Lady Davidson's honour.
