Walt Disney World International Program - Housing

Housing

International Program participants are housed alongside College Program participants in gated-community apartment complexes which provide furnished apartments, public transportation to work locations and local shopping complexes, recreational amenities and computer labs. Rent is auto-deducted from each paycheck. The complexes are The Commons, Chatham Square, Vista Way, and Patterson Court.

A common misconception is that the housing is run by Disney, where it is in fact run on their behalf by the Lincoln Property Company starting September 2012.

Typically, Cultural Representative Program participants are housed in any of the four complexes, mainly The Commons. While International College Program participants could be housed in the complexes excluding The Commons.

Famous quotes containing the word housing:

We have been weakened in our resistance to the professional anti-Communists because we know in our hearts that our so-called democracy has excluded millions of citizens from a normal life and the normal American privileges of health, housing and education.
    Agnes E. Meyer (1887–1970)
