On March 11, 2008, the band announced that they were recording new music in a blog on their Myspace page. Wakefield is currently in the studio recording their new album which will be releases by Maryland based Indie label iBot Records. Wakefield bassist Mike Schoolden has also toured with the band New Years Day.
