Wake Forest Intellectual Property Law Journal

The Wake Forest Intellectual Property Law Journal is a student-run law journal of intellectual property law produced by the Wake Forest University School of Law.

The Journal was founded in 2001 after years of lobbying and preparation by students, professors, and alumni active in the field of intellectual property law. The Journal is one of three publications produced by the Wake Forest University School of Law. The Journal is independent from the Intellectual Property Law Association of Wake Forest University School of Law, but coordinates with that student group to plan events and host speakers on campus. The Journal was recently ranked 6th nationally out of all intellectual property law journals in the "2006 ExpressO Law Review Submissions Guide."

When “reality” is sought for at large, it is without intellectual import; at most the term carries the connotation of an agreeable emotional state.
    John Dewey (1859–1952)

Oh, had I received the education I desired, had I been bred to the profession of the law, I might have been a useful member of society, and instead of myself and my property being taken care of, I might have been a protector of the helpless, a pleader for the poor and unfortunate.
    Sarah M. Grimke (1792–1873)

Every formula which expresses a law of nature is a hymn of praise to God.

The Journal is not essentially a confession, a story about oneself. It is a Memorial. What does the writer have to remember? Himself, who he is when he is not writing, when he is living his daily life, when he alive and real, and not dying and without truth.
    Maurice Blanchot (b. 1907)
