Wait A Minute (Pussycat Dolls Song)

"Wait a Minute" is a song from the Pussycat Dolls' debut album, PCD. The song features Timbaland, this single was intentionally set to be released the same time as "I Don't Need a Man", which was released throughout Europe and Oceania. However, due to scheduling and the positive radio airplay of "Buttons", the single was pushed back. In addition, the single was set to be released only in North America, but with the success of "I Don't Need a Man", the single was also released internationally.

Promotional singles were officially sent out to American and Canadian radios on October 17, 2006; however, some promos were sent out before this. Toward the end of 2006, "Wait a Minute" began to be aired on British music channels. On December 4, 2006, it was released as a digital download in UK. The single was released on February 24, 2007 in Australia.

This is the final video and single to feature Carmit Bachar.

Famous quotes containing the words wait, minute and/or dolls:

When a man of sense happens to be in that disagreeable situation in which he is obliged to ask himself more than once, What shall I do? he will answer himself, Nothing. When his reason points out to him no good way, he will stop short, and wait for light. A little busy mind runs on at all events, must be doing; and, like a blind horse, fears no dangers, because he sees none. Il faut scavoir s’ennuïer.*
Philip Dormer Stanhope, 4th Earl Chesterfield (1694–1773)

The minute you try to talk business with him he takes the attitude that he is a gentleman and a scholar, and the moment you try to approach him on the level of his moral integrity he starts to talk business.
    Raymond Chandler (1888–1959)

    Cinderella and the prince
lived, they say, happily ever after,
like two dolls in a museum case
never bothered by diapers or dust,
never arguing over the timing of an egg,
never telling the same story twice....
    Anne Sexton (1928–1974)
