Fears

Wade has a fear of blades or razors which is shown in The Dream Masters where one of the Dream Masters invades her dreams, after she defies him. In these dreams, he is shown to be holding a blade to her throat. In the episode, it is explained by Arturo that she had once been mugged by a knife-wielding assailant, leaving her ever after afraid of being attacked by blades of all sorts.

Famous quotes containing the word fears:

I should prefer a Woman that is agreeable in my own Eye, and not deformed in that of the World, to a celebrated Beauty. If you marry one remarkably beautiful, you must have a violent Passion for her, or you have not the proper Taste of her Charms; and if you have such a Passion for her, it is odds but it will be imbittered [sic] with Fears and Jealousies.
    Joseph Addison (1672–1719)

He that but fears the thing he would not know
Hath by instinct knowledge from others’ eyes
That what he feared is chanced.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

Doubt is to certainty as neurosis is to psychosis. The neurotic is in doubt and has fears about persons and things; the psychotic has convictions and makes claims about them. In short, the neurotic has problems, the psychotic has solutions.
    Thomas Szasz (b. 1920)
