Vote Hemp

Vote Hemp is a non-profit, single-issue organization dedicated to the regulation of industrial hemp in the United States.

Founded in 2000 by members of the hemp industry, (many coming from its partner, the Hemp Industries Association), Vote Hemp takes a political approach to education and legislation. Based out of Washington, D.C., Vote Hemp conducts work on Capitol Hill in order to raise awareness and create change within the United States Congress. As the driving force behind Industrial Hemp legislation, Vote Hemp assists in writing legislation,( H.R. 1009, effectively in session since 2005) participates in lobbying, as well as sponsors lawyers in legal cases

Vote Hemp is non-partisan and advocates exclusively for non-psychoactive (<0.3% THC) oilseed and fibre varieties of Cannabis.
