Vladimir Romanov
Vladimir Nikolayevich Romanov (Владимир Николаевич Романов); born 1947 in Tver Oblast, Russian SFSR, USSR) is an ethnic Russian businessman who also holds Lithuanian citizenship following that country's independence from the Soviet Union. He is chairman of UBIG Investments which is the majority shareholder in Scottish Premier League football club Hearts and Lithuanian Basketball League club Žalgiris. He also controls the Lithuanian club FBK Kaunas and was the owner of Belarusian Premier League club FC Partizan Minsk, before selling the club in March 2012. Romanov's principal business interest is a substantial stake in the Lithuanian bank Ūkio Bankas.
