More About His Shows

Vipin Handa started his first stint with television at the age of 15, and hosted Kishoron Ke Liye, slowly moving on to a dozen more television shows. He then went on to do a show called

Inse Miliye- A show where Handa met people from all fields of society, and showcased his philanthropy skills.

Saptahiki- A weekend show where a new movie would be showcased on Doordarshan.

Aamne Samne- A first of its kind entertainment talk show that invited celebrities and the glitterati of the Indian Film Industry, from the likes of Shekhar Kapur to Subhash Ghai to Manoj Kumar and Dev Anand, giving backslapping interviews and gossip.

Baaton Baaton Mein- The trend was continued by Handa, who with his fifty week long presence, had turned into an overnight talk show titan, and had stalwarts from the film fraternity every week.

Fursat Mein- A unique talk show, and again a first of its kind, using puppets.

Box Office Speaks: The show presented gossip news, film reviews and the trade collections every week.

Black And White: A unique satarical show about the contrasts in society.

Subah Savere: Handa appeared as a film critic every week, reviewing the latest films.

Dastak: The first reality show its kind, a show that catered to the needs of the poverty stricken, rape victims, sex workers, police astrocities and those suffering from medical negligence and old age. The show provided a helpline to all the victims.

Vipin Handa Speaks: A show and a newspaper column where Handa pays his personal tribute to the cinematic legends, and his personal rendezvous, with legends like Amitabh Bachchan, Dev Anand, Salman Khan, Raaj Kumaar and Aamir Khan.
