Vincent Award
The Vincent Award or The Vincent van Gogh Biennial Award for Contemporary Art in Europe is a Dutch prize awarded every two years to a European artist that judges believe "will have significant, enduring impact on contemporary art." The award was created and is funded by The Broere Charitable Foundation in memory of Monique Zajfen, a Broere family friend. Nominated artists are exhibited at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. The first three editions took place in the Bonnefanten Museum in Maastricht. The competition's jury of 5 is led by the museum's director.
