VIEW Conference - 2011 Edition

2011 Edition

The twelfth edition of VIEW Conference took place from October 25 to October 28 at the Conference Center Torino Incontra. This edition has seen the participation of four keynotes, four international guests that have offered a taste of their experience and professionalism. Sharon Calahan, the goddess of light from the Pixar animation studios; the visual thinking guru Tom Wujec; Randy Thom, Sound Director and twice academy award winner, and the science fiction writer Cory Doctorow.

"I think the caliber of the speakers was amazing, even more outstanding than normal. I liked the wide variety of topics covered, the diversity. Famous quotes containing the word edition:

Books have their destinies like men. And their fates, as made by generations of readers, are very different from the destinies foreseen for them by their authors. Gulliver’s Travels, with a minimum of expurgation, has become a children’s book; a new illustrated edition is produced every Christmas. That’s what comes of saying profound things about humanity in terms of a fairy story.
    Aldous Huxley (1894–1963)
