The Vermont Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing has an operating budget of $10 million. There is a $5.2 million dollar physical plant budget. Operating costs are partially covered by individual student tuition payments approved by the Vermont State Department of Education plus approximately $1 million in state-funded grants. User fees also help to cover some services. The remainder of the budget relies on community support.
