Variable Polar Pattern

A Variable Polar Pattern is a feature found on microphones that enables the user to change the shape of the pick-up pattern. A true variable polar pattern is continuously adjustable with no stops. Hybrids of cardioid, figure-of-eight, and omnidirectional can achieved with this feature.
