Vamsy never wanted to become a film director. He considered himself a better writer. It is said that this director fell in love with the famous south Indian actress Bhanupriya while working with her in Anveshana, Sitara and Preminchu Pelladu. Eventually, it is said that the actress dumped him and married a famous award winning photographer; during the time of Mohan Babu starrer Detective Narada was being made. This break-up was traumatic to Vamsy, and he quit making films for a couple of years. Though, Bhanupriya obtained fame because of Vamsy, she didn't accept him (as a partner). The one and only director who has highest number of fan sites(13).
