Alleged Recruiting and CHSAA Response

Under heavy speculation and open claims made by other Colorado coaches and a former star player, the Colorado High School Activities Association voted 40-20 to exclude Valor Christian football from membership in any league or conference in Colorado. The vote was highly influenced by opinions such as Mark Nolan and John Vogt, head football coaches at Regis Jesuit High School and Chaparral High School, respectively. Said Nolan, "They have a standard operating procedure. You name the sport, when the competition's over at the JV and freshman level, they hunt up the families and kids that competed well against them and say, 'Hey, are you happy where you're at?'" Vogt adds, "They're getting whoever they want. They're blatant."
