Uwe Krupp

Uwe G. Krupp (born June 24, 1965) is a retired German professional hockey defenceman and former coach of the German national ice hockey team. Following Walt Tkaczuk, Krupp was only the second German-born player to have a lasting career in the National Hockey League. He was also the second German-born player to win the Stanley Cup (following Randy Gilhen), and the second German-born player chosen to an NHL All-Star Game (after Tkaczuk). Krupp was the tallest player in the league for nearly seven years, towering at 6'6". Krupp is currently the head coach of Kölner Haie.
