Post-war Decommissioning
She was decommissioned on 4 April 1946 and struck from the Navy list on 8 May 1946. The ship was transferred to the U.S. Maritime Commission as of 7 May 1947 and delivered to her purchaser, E. E. Johnson, on 29 April 1947.
