Famous quotes containing the word fate:
“If you believe in Fate to your harm, believe it, at least, for your good.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

—Elaine Heffner (20th century)
“Oh, how sweet it is to pity the fate of an enemy who can no longer threaten us!”
—Pierre Corneille (1606–1684)
