The Usk Reservoir is located in the upper Usk Valley, at 1,050 feet (320 m) above sea level, in Carmarthenshire, south Wales.
The reservoir is situated in part of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Completed in 1955, it now covers some 280 acres (110 ha) of land. It can be located just off the minor road between Trecastle and Llanddeusant, 7 miles (11 km) west of Sennybridge.
