Ushiroyubi Sasaregumi (うしろゆびさされ組?) was a two-member Japanese pop music group created in 1985, consisting of Yukiko Iwai and Mamiko Takai. While members of this group, Iwai and Takai were also members of Onyanko Club, a large pop group considered a precursor to groups such as Morning Musume. Onyanko Club sang back-up vocals on some of the songs released by Ushiroyubi Sasaregumi. The group is most well known for singing several of the theme songs for the anime TV series High School! Kimengumi.
The group was considered a little unusual due to the height difference between Iwai and Takai. Takai was taller at about 5' 4'' (about 162 cm), and Iwai barely reached 4' 11'' (about 150 cm), so the height difference was striking.
Ushiroyubi Sasaregumi made their television debut on 30 September 1985. Over the course of the group's career, they released six singles, three albums, a concert video, and two photobooks (in addition to the Kimengumi soundtrack albums). The group disbanded after Takai's graduation from Onyanko Club on 5 April 1987.
