U.S. Route 227

U.S. Route 227 (US 227) was a U.S. Highway that was commissioned in Kentucky from 1928 to 1972, and ran from Richmond to Carrollton. The current fate of the road is:

  • Completely deleted and replaced by Interstate 75 between Richmond and Exit 95, leading to White Hall State Shrine
  • Kentucky Route 627 from Exit 95 to Paris via Winchester
  • U.S. Route 460, a former concurrency of U.S. 227, from Paris to Georgetown
  • Kentucky Route 227 from Georgetown to Carrollton
