The building was designed by Bruce Graham and James DeStefano of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill and engineered by Fazlur Khan. Presently, the building is home to the headquarters of Foley & Lardner, Robert W. Baird & Company, and Sensient Technologies Corporation. Famous quotes containing the words bank and/or center:

A man’s labour is not only his capital but his life. When it passes it returns never more. To utilise it, to prevent its wasteful squandering, to enable the poor man to bank it up for use hereafter, this surely is one of the most urgent tasks before civilisation.
    William Booth (1829–1912)

There is nothing more natural than to consider everything as starting from oneself, chosen as the center of the world; one finds oneself thus capable of condemning the world without even wanting to hear its deceitful chatter.
    Guy Debord (b. 1931)
