Upper Cape fielded its first football team after the co-op with Bourne High School was disbanded in 2010. They went 4-4 under a JV schedule and played their first varsity game on November 22, 2010 against Cape Cod Regional Technical High School, losing 88-terrible. Upper Cape will field a varsity team in 2011 and will join the Mayflower League. Upper Cape will also begin a Thanksgiving Day rivalry with Cape Cod Regional Technical High School. In Upper Cape Tech's first varsity season, the team went 2 - 8. Upper Cape also hosted a Junior Varsity and Freshman Football program that fall.

In the team's second varsity season, (2012), the team went 9 - 1 in the regular season. They clinched the birth for the MIAA Division 5 East High School Football Super Bowl and went up against the 10 - 0 Dorchester Bears. They beat the Bears 22 - 8 and won the program's first championship and the school's first state championship.

The Upper Cape Tech Boys Baseball team also won the 2012 Massachusetts State Vocational Championship.

Upper Cape Tech hosts many varsity sports for both genders, like Football, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, softball, soccer, cross-country, volleyball, golf, and a Co-op program with Mashpee High School for varsity hockey.
