Upland High School Future Technology
In mid-2012 Upland High School will publish the first mobile app for homework usage. Provided by School Loop, students are able to check grades, homework, assignments they completed in class, and also communicate with teachers. Now, it may be easier to access School Loop or UplandHigh.org on a mobile app. The application will be developed for use with Apple, Android, and Blackberry. Although the Upland High School App will first be uploaded to the Apple App Store, it will be available for Android and Blackberry shortly after. Information about the app's design and features will not be released until the official application has been uploaded to the App Store (iOS). DemoDanish will be creating the Application for Upland High School students and teachers. DemoDanish will begin the process, and more information will be posted at school through the daily bulletin.

Famous quotes containing the words upland, high, school, future and/or technology:
“There was not a tree as far as we could see, and that was many miles each way, the general level of the upland being about the same everywhere. Even from the Atlantic side we overlooked the Bay, and saw to Manomet Point in Plymouth, and better from that side because it was the highest.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“But hospitality must be for service, and not for show, or it pulls down the host. The brave soul rates itself too high to value itself by the splendor of its table and draperies. It gives what it hath, and all it hath, but its own majesty can lend a better grace to bannocks and fair water than belong to city feasts.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“What a wise and good parent will desire for his own children a nation must desire for all children.”
—Consultative Committee On The Prima. Report of the Consultative Committee on the Primary School (HADOW)
“Only he who can view his own past as an abortion sprung from compulsion and need can use it to full advantage in the present. For what one has lived is at best comparable to a beautiful statue which has had all its limbs knocked off in transit, and now yields nothing but the precious block out of which the image of ones future must be hewn.”
—Walter Benjamin (18921940)
“If the technology cannot shoulder the entire burden of strategic change, it nevertheless can set into motion a series of dynamics that present an important challenge to imperative control and the industrial division of labor. The more blurred the distinction between what workers know and what managers know, the more fragile and pointless any traditional relationships of domination and subordination between them will become.”
—Shoshana Zuboff (b. 1951)
