Unthanks Cave Natural Area Preserve

Unthanks Cave Natural Area Preserve is a Natural Area Preserve located in Lee County, Virginia. It protects an area of significant biological diversity, and contains a wide variety of invertebrate life. Its streams drain a significant karst area south of the Powell River. The cave was protected in 2004 and it is currently gated and inaccessible except for official scientific monitoring and inquiry.
